Job Title: Advanced GDA Trainer

Location: Ranchi/Uttar Pradesh/Bihar

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Project Head / Center Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Advanced GDA Trainer to deliver high-quality training under the DDU-GKY scheme. The trainer will be responsible for conducting theory and practical sessions for rural youth enrolled in the GDA course, ensuring adherence to NSQF levels and DDU-GKY training guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:Training Delivery:

  • Deliver NSQF Level-4 aligned training for the General Duty Assistant (Healthcare) job role.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive classroom and lab sessions on advanced healthcare skills including patient care, basic nursing, infection control, geriatric care, and emergency response.
  • Facilitate hands-on practice using medical tools, equipment, and simulation setups.

Curriculum & Assessment:

  • Follow the prescribed curriculum and DDU-GKY SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Assist in curriculum planning, content modification, and contextualization for better understanding.
  • Prepare daily lesson plans, maintain session records, and conduct periodic assessments.
  • Guide students for internal assessments and support them in external assessments conducted by SSCs (Sector Skill Councils).

Student Management:

  • Mentor and motivate students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds.
  • Maintain discipline and ensure 100% participation and retention of enrolled students.
  • Address students’ doubts and learning needs through personalized attention.

Industry & Placement Readiness:

  • Train students in soft skills, workplace ethics, and communication relevant to healthcare settings.
  • Provide exposure to real-world settings through hospital visits, internships, or live demos.
  • Assist placement coordinators in preparing students for job interviews in hospitals, old-age homes, or home healthcare providers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM with relevant certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of work experience as a GDA Trainer under DDU-GKY or similar skill development projects.
  • Certification: Certified Trainer by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) or other relevant bodies.
  • DDU-GKY Experience: Strong understanding of DDU-GKY guidelines, documentation (Kaushal Bharat MIS), and compliance requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of patient care and hospital processes
  • Effective classroom management and presentation skills
  • Fluency in local language and basic English
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, MIS entry)
  • Empathy and the ability to work with underprivileged youth
  • Experience in mobilization, counseling, and post-placement tracking is a plus

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in conducting TOT (Training of Trainers)
  • Willingness to travel for project-related activities
  • Familiarity with NSDC, HSSC standards, and quality protocols

Salary: Commensurate with experience and project guidelines
