Role Overview


As the Fundraising Manager, your mission is to secure strategic funding from top-tier VCs, angel investors, crypto funds, and institutional partners. You will lead AMALAS’s fundraising strategy, craft compelling investment narratives, and leverage your existing network to close successful rounds. The ideal candidates are proven fundraisers in Web3, DeFi, or tech startups, with millions in secured capital and a global investor network.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead all fundraising activities (pre-seed, seed, Series A and beyond), including equity and token sales.
  • Develop and execute a fundraising strategy, aligning with AMALAS’s roadmap, financial targets, and growth phases.
  • Identify and engage VCs, crypto funds, angel investors, family offices, and strategic partners with aligned interests.
  • Prepare high-quality investor materials, including pitch decks, tokenomics documentation, financial forecasts, data rooms, one-pagers, and whitepapers (with internal support).
  • Pitch and present AMALAS to potential investors and follow up persistently to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Negotiate deal terms with legal and compliance support to ensure favorable terms for AMALAS.
  • Act as a key representative of AMALAS at investor events, Web3 summits, and networking forums globally.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align fundraising goals with strategic business development and token launch planning.


Required Qualifications


  • Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, or capital raising for startups, preferably in Web3, crypto, fintech, or tech startups.
  • Deep network of contacts in venture capital, private equity, and Web3/crypto investment funds.
  • Strong understanding of tokenomics, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, and decentralized governance.
  • Exceptional presentation, pitching, and negotiation skills – you must be able to lead and close deals.
  • Fluent in investment documentation (SAFT, SAFE, token warrants, equity agreements).
  • Experience with data room creation, investor due diligence processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, in a fast-paced, agile environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in fundraising for a Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain, Web3 solutions, or DeFi protocol.
  • Previous roles as Head of Fundraising, Head of Investor Relations, or Fundraising Consultant for a known Web3 project.
  • Exposure to both token-based and equity-based fundraising structures.
  • Connections with launchpads, liquidity providers, and major centralized exchanges (Tier 1/2).
  • Experience coordinating or supporting IDO/IEO/ICO events.
  • Public speaking and pitch competition experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of raising at least $5M+ from institutional investors, VCs, or angel syndicates.
