Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
  • Implement SSR (Server Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and dynamic routing using Next.js
  • Write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code using TypeScript
  • Consume APIs efficiently using React Query or SWR for data fetching and caching
  • Manage application state using Redux Toolkit or Zustand
  • Build responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs using Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or modern CSS practices
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation from Figma or design tools
  • Implement and handle authentication flows using JWT, session-based methods, or NextAuth.js
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs seamlessly
  • Write unit and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library
  • Follow best practices for version control using Git (branches, commits, pull requests)
  • Maintain accessibility standards (a11y) for inclusive design – good to have
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development standards
  • Deploy frontend applications using platforms like Vercel or configure GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines – good to have
  • Optimize frontend performance and user experience through clean code, modular architecture, and efficient debugging

Requirements

  • React.js (Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle)
  • Next.js (App/Pages Router, SSR, SSG, dynamic routing, metadata)
  • TypeScript
  • React Query or SWR
  • Global state management using Redux Toolkit or Zustand
  • Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules
  • Git (branching, commits, pull requests)
  • Basic testing with Jest and React Testing Library
  • Responsive design using Flexbox, Grid, and media queries
  • HTML5 and modern CSS
  • Authentication using JWT, session-based auth, or NextAuth.js
  • Accessibility (a11y best practices) – good to have
  • Basic CI/CD knowledge with Vercel or GitHub Actions – good to have
  • Clean code and debugging skills
