Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop embedded firmware for AI accelerators. Optimize firmware performance to meet AI runtime requirements. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure firmware compatibility. Implement and test firmware updates and enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues. Maintain documentation for firmware development processes and updates. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and firmware technologies. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware development. Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) standards. Adhere to ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) software development processes.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in firmware development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly. Strong understanding of CPU architecture (e.g., ARM, ARC). Experience with low-level hardware programming (e.g., DMA controllers, memory controllers). Must-have: Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts. Must-have: Experience with AI runtime systems and deep learning frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices. Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) standards. Familiarity with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) software development processes.Preferred Experience: Experience with bare-metal firmware development. Understanding of reset vectors, interrupts, and exceptions. Knowledge of cache controllers and bus fabrics.
