Firmware Development Intern

As a Firmware Development Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience contributing to the development and testing of embedded firmware that powers our innovative IoT products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineering team and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, platforms, and real-world product development challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing embedded software for microcontrollers.
• Support firmware modification, debugging, and documentation activities.
• Participate in testing and validation of developed modules using real-time hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware and product teams to understand requirements and propose firmware solutions.
• Contribute to prototype development and early-stage system testing.
• Learn and apply knowledge of embedded interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, etc.
• Assist in porting firmware across different chipsets.
• Apply knowledge of Linux kernel and AltOS in embedded application development.
• Demonstrate prior work or projects that reflect experience and interest in kernel-level programming and AltOS-based systems.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field (UG/PG).
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architecture (ARM Cortex, Atmega,
• PIC, etc.).
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming and basic debugging techniques.
• Exposure to Linux-based development environments and real-time operating systems is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for learning about firmware development, system-level programming, and IoT technologies.
• Interest in hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, USB).
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP, HTTPS, FTP
• Ability to understand and work with schematics and data sheets.
• Curiosity, problem-solving attitude, and strong willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
