Filmmaker (AD & Editor)

We are seeking a talented and versatile Filmmaker with strong experience in Assistant Direction (AD) and Video Editing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of on-set production management, shot composition, scheduling, and post-production workflows. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth film production while also crafting compelling edits that align with the director’s vision.

• Assist the director in planning and executing shoots efficiently.
• Manage on-set operations, including scheduling, call sheets, and crew coordination.
• Oversee continuity, shot lists, and script breakdowns.
• Ensure adherence to production timelines and budgets.
• Liaise between departments (camera, sound, art, etc.) to maintain workflow.
• Supervise background actors and extras as needed.
• Troubleshoot logistical and technical issues during production.

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos (short films, features, commercials, etc.).
• Sync audio, color correct, and apply visual effects as needed.
• Work closely with directors/producers to refine storytelling through pacing, transitions, and sound design.
• Organize and manage media assets for post-production.
• Deliver edits in required formats for different platforms (theatrical, web, social media).
• Stay updated on editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and industry trends.

• Proven experience as an Assistant Director in film/TV productions.
• Strong portfolio showcasing editing skills (narrative, documentary, or commercial work).
• Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Avid, DaVinci Resolve).
• Knowledge of cinematography, shot composition, and post-production workflows.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for on-set coordination.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to creative changes.
• Familiarity with sound design, VFX, and motion graphics is a plus.
