Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Indian ethnic fashion, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to conceptualise and develop collections that align with the brand’s identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop seasonal collections for Indian ethnic wear (lehengas, suits, kurtas, fusion wear, etc.)

Conduct trend research and market analysis to create fresh, innovative concepts

Prepare mood boards, sketches, colour palettes, and fabric selections

Collaborate with in-house tailors, artisans, and embroiderers for sampling and production

Supervise fittings, alterations, and quality control for final pieces

Source fabrics, trims, and embellishments from vendors

Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams for collection launches

Stay updated with industry trends, traditional crafts, and evolving customer preferences

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a recognised institute

0-3 years of experience in ethnic wear designing (freshers with exceptional portfolios may also apply)

Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroidery techniques, surface ornamentation, and garment construction

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software

Excellent sketching and visualization skills

Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities

A creative and detail-oriented approach with a deep passion for Indian fashion
