Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Assistant to support our fashion design and merchandising teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, organized, and have a strong understanding of current trends. This role involves assisting in daily operations including sample coordination, styling support, trend research, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist fashion stylists and designers with fittings, lookbooks, shoots, and fashion shows.
Coordinate samples, track inventory, and manage clothing returns.
Conduct trend research and compile mood boards or inspiration decks.
Support in visual merchandising planning and execution.
Liaise with vendors, PR agencies, and internal departments for smooth workflow.
Help prepare for fashion events, exhibitions, and product launches.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, sample racks, and shoot materials.

Requirements

Degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in a similar fashion or retail environment.
Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and styling.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Willingness to travel or work flexible hours during shoots/events.

Preferred

Experience assisting at photo shoots, fashion shows, or with editorial teams.
Portfolio or visual work showcasing styling or fashion coordination
