Email Marketing Expert (Remote)

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Email Communications and Marketing Expert to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of hands-on experience in email marketing and is proficient in Customer.io or similar tools. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that engage our audience and drive measurable business outcomes. You will also play a key role in responding to customer inquiries and maintaining high engagement levels. You are expected to be available for 4 hours during the evening IST hours, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, to collaborate with stakeholders in the US. The remaining working hours can be scheduled during the daytime at your convenience. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage email marketing campaigns using Customer.io or similar platforms. Create email templates, workflows, and automation sequences tailored to different customer segments. Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and continuously optimize for better results. Conduct A/B testing to identify effective subject lines, content formats, and delivery times. Collaborate with internal teams to align email campaigns with broader marketing goals. Manage customer responses and provide timely, helpful communication to support customer retention and satisfaction. Maintain compliance with email marketing best practices and relevant legal regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Prepare and present campaign reports and insights to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in email marketing. Proven expertise in using Customer.io or similar email marketing tools. Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Solid understanding of segmentation, personalization, and automation best practices. Experience handling customer queries via email in a professional and empathetic manner. Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting email performance metrics.
