Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Draftsman, located in Nalagarh. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans, modifying and updating designs according to specifications, and ensuring that all drawings meet industry standards. Drafting of Engineering Drawings – GA Layouts, Structural and Architectural Drawing, Machine Component and equipment Process Flow Sheet , P&I Diagrams . Must have good hands-on experience in creating / maintaining Drawings in AutoCAD.

On site verification, communication with Vendors/ stakeholders for assessing their needs and obtaining the same while execution of Projects.

Ensuring designs adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Maintain log of Summaries of design progress, challenges, and solutions, besides maintaining changes.

Preparation of Project Reports, reporting matter after compiling information from different stakeholders.

Assist in supervision of Projects with concerned engineers, contractors for implementation as per plan.

Periodic MIS preparation thru SAP records , MOM and field observations.

Preparing and Maintaining the Standard procedures and implementing to comply with Management System requirements.

Skills

AutoCAD drawing, Working knowledge of Compliance requirements for incorporation in drawing.

Working knowledge of Standards and requirements for Layout etc. Preparation of BOQ/BOM, as per drawing, checking of onsite activity & Measurement.

Ability to read and understand Process Flow sheet, in conjunction with Vendor and Process Stake holders for preparation of GA Layout and Specification of requirements, Timelines /Gantt Chart.

Communication Skills - Technical discussion during detailed planning with consultant/ contractor. Site inspection and guiding Site engineer for implementation as per plan and incorporating changes to suit “As Built “drawing.

Fair knowledge of English, Hindi. Punjabi will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry – Any medium size factory preferably Process/ Engineering Industry.
