The project, titled “Quantized vortices and nonlinear waves,” focuses on the mathematical analysis of dispersive phenomena in fluid flows, particularly the propagation and properties of nonlinear waves.The successful candidate will join the established research group “Nonlinear PDES” at the Institute of Analysis and will have the opportunity to participate in courses, conferences, workshops, and summer schools. Involvement in teaching activities is encouraged.

Requirements

– Excellent Master’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics– Strong background in analysis and partial differential equations (PDEs)– Good writing and oral communication skills in English– Ability to work independently in an international team
