The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance. Position: Database Administrator / Senior DBA Job Location: Kolkata Job Descriptions: · Oracle DB installation and reinstallation · Oracle DB Monitoring · DB Backup and restore, cloning · Database Performance Tuning · Disk space monitoring · Database patching · Database / App cloning · Forms and reports compiling (not essential) · Knowledge on Oracle EBS is desirable but not mandatory · Knowledge on Red Hat Linux Operating System is required Responsibilities Manage database changes and re-designs Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly Monitor high availability of DB and replication between DC & DR Drive automation of code Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study Proven knowledge on Oracle RAC and Data Guard Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience 5 - 7 years
