About the Internship:

Meta Scifor Technologies is excited to invite applications for our 6-month remote internship program for aspiring Data Scientists.

This internship is carefully designed to provide structured learning and hands-on project experience, divided into two focused stages:

Skill Development Stage (First 3 Months):

Interns will undergo intensive training in core data science concepts, tools, and techniques. This phase covers data analysis, statistical methods, Python for data science, data visualization, and foundational machine learning. Sessions include practical assignments, mentor-led guidance, and peer discussions to build confidence and readiness for real-world tasks.

Project Implementation Stage (Next 3 Months):

After successfully completing the skill development phase, interns will transition to live data science projects, working closely with our teams. Responsibilities will include data collection, cleaning, exploratory analysis, model building, and reporting insights. A performance-based stipend of up to ₹10,000 will be offered, based on contributions and outcomes during this phase.

Regular feedback, mentorship, and skill enhancement sessions will help interns grow into strong data science professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for real-world datasets.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate actionable insights.
• Apply statistical methods and basic machine learning algorithms under mentor supervision.
• Visualize data and results using relevant tools and libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in daily check-ins, peer code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Freshers, Pre-Final Year, Final Year Graduates, or Recent Graduates interested in data science.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a dynamic team environment.
• Basic understanding of Python and statistics preferred.
• Availability to commit full-time (Monday to Friday) for the entire 6-month program.
