Data Engineering Trainer/Faculty

Job Description:

MindForge Infotech is looking for an Data Engineering Trainer to teach Data Architectures, ETL processes with cloud to students. The ideal candidate should have practical experience. The role involves delivering hands-on, project-based training, mentoring students, and developing course materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on Big Data Processing with Spark, Kafka, Apache Flink, OLTP, OLAP, ETL, ELT, and related tools.
• Train students on bug tracking tools (JIRA, Redmine), test management, MySQL, Postman, JMeter, Git & GitHub, and basic DevOps/CI-CD concepts.
• Create/update training materials, assignments, case studies, and project-based content.
• Conduct practical sessions and guide learners through hands-on projects.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Data Engineering.
• Provide mentorship and support to students during and after the course.
• Collaborate with the academic/operations team for scheduling and student progress tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Data Architectures, Data processing with Big Data Tools Spark, PySpark, Kafka,, etc.
• Hands-on experience with ETL, ELT, Data Engineering with AWS, Azure and GCP, Azure Data Factory, Data Fusion, Snowflake architecture, integration with Snowflake, etc
• Experience in performance testing tools like Cloud AWS, AZURE, GCP is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Prior training or mentoring experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience with live project training.
• Exposure to data engineering frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: ₹400.00 - ₹450.00 per hour
