Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Experience: Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience in data engineering support or a related role, with hands-on exposure to AWS.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, optimize, and debug queries for data analysis and issue resolution.
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation; familiarity with Shell scripting is a plus.
Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
Exposure to data warehousing concepts; experience with Amazon Redshift or similar platforms preferred.
Working knowledge of orchestration tools, especially Apache Airflow – including monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and multi-cultural teams.
Problem-solving attitude with an eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment on a 6-day working schedule, with rotational shifts as required.
Language Requirements:
Must be able to read and write in English proficiently.
