📊 Earthmetry brings datasets for India from areas like electricity, oil & gas, air quality monitoring, climate reanalysis, and climate models into one platform. We connect this data to visualizations, models, and downstream systems and dashboards via both no-code and coding applications. We are a high-growth startup and we’re breaking into the international market.


The Opportunity


Customer Success Manager, Data Solutions

This is not a typical account management role. You will be a strategic partner, responsible for the entire lifecycle of our customers' data needs. Your primary goal is to ensure our customers achieve their desired outcomes by transforming their complex requirements into tangible, high-quality data solutions that are delivered on time and integrated seamlessly into their workflows.


What You'll Do 🚀


  • Partner with Customers:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for our existing customers, building strong, long-term relationships based on trust and expertise.
  • Translate Business Needs:

    Conduct discovery calls to deeply understand customer requirements for new sustainability datasets (e.g., carbon emissions, water usage, supply chain compliance). Translate these needs into clear, actionable specifications for our Data Engineering team.
  • Manage Delivery:

    Own the end-to-end project management of custom data requests, coordinating with internal teams to ensure milestones are met and projects stay on track.
  • Validate and Verify:

    Act as the final quality check, ensuring that the delivered data solution is accurate, complete, and perfectly matches the customer's original request.
  • Deliver Value:

    Oversee the final delivery and integration of data into the customer's BI tools, ensuring they understand the data and can use it effectively.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer:

    Advocate for your customers internally, providing valuable feedback to our product and engineering teams to help shape the future of our platform.


What We're Looking For ✅


  • Experience:

    2-5 years of experience in a role such as Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Project Management or Data Analytics, preferably within a B2B tech or SaaS company.
  • Exceptional Communication:

    The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are an excellent listener.
  • Project Management Skills:

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Data Literacy:

    You don't need to be a data engineer, but you must be comfortable discussing technical concepts like data pipelines, data analytics, excel and BI tools.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset:

    You are naturally curious and driven to find the best possible solution for your customers.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Office location is Navalur, Chennai. This is

    NOT

    a fully remote job.
  • Depending on prior experience the salary range will be 5-9 lakhs CTC.
  • Since we are a startup can be flexible with hours and hybrid work on a case to case basis.
