We are hiring for the role of Corporate EHS Head for our Chemical manufacturing company based at Dombivli East MIDC Phase 2. Requirements : ADIS Diploma is mandatory for this role. Require 15 to 20 years experience in Chemical Manufacturing companies. Experience of handling atleast 4 to 5 Units/Plants Experience of handling EHS team Job Description: 1. To assist the Factory management in fulfilling its obligations to the statutory and other governing bodies, in prevention of personal injuries and in maintaining a safe working environment at site by reviewing & updating the departmental performance frequently and report the status to the top management time to time. 2. Plan, implement, and execute EHS programs as per site management requirements , by interacting with the individual Plant & EHS head , with different statutory bodies,reviewing the AMC , Documents, statutory compliance & norms etc as and when it is required. 3. To conduct the Safety Audit , Hazop study , implement On & Off site emergency Plan , external training , updating the latest standards of the government regulations etc. by guiding and interacting with all individual unit’s EHS officers and Unit Head. 4. Implement ISO 14 & 45001 in all factories by taking initiative and active participation throughout it’s implementation by providing appropriate training & guidance to the individual unit to make the company a certified company at the earliest and maintain the standard consistently after it’s implementation. 5. To provide advice on all certification audits related to EHS 6. To organize in association with the concerned departments, trainings, campaigns, Competitions, contests and other activities related to statutory compliance which will motivate the workers in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedures in all factories. 7. To guide the individual units on maintaining the effluent treatment plant function in accordance with the State Pollution Control board requirements. 8. To Ensure the Accident / Incident reporting and it’s investigation procedures are being followed as per the company requirement and implementing the CAPA effectively whenever it happen in any of the unit and report it to the management . 9. To evaluate risk associated with the process modification , new product /project implementation or any operational hazards etc and report it to Managing Director and advice the corrective action needs to be taken to make it safe. 10. To lead & investigate the accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences reportable under Rule 115 and the cases of industrial diseases contracted by any of the workers employed in the factor reportable under rule 116 of the Maharashtra Factories Rules. 11. To ensure safety committee meetings conducted in all units and act as an adviser to such committees to take follow up actions of points discussed/assured by dept heads. 12. Reviewing existing EHS policies /SOPs/ Standards and procedures to ensure they are up to date. 13. To maintain the EHS data as per management/ legal requirements/guidelines at the corporate level. 14. To review the EHS sytem performance by analysing the different data and parameters maintain by all units on monthly basis and update the status to the top management and suggest if any improvement plan needs to be implemented. 15. To check & maintain monthly & yearly data into EHS software/softcopy. 16. To act as Coordinator under on-site Emergency Management Plan , to review it and update on regular interval. 17. Signing on equipment qualification documents (wherever required). 18. Signing on Capex , PR & PO approval related to EHS requirements for the site PPEs, projects, equipment’s, etc as required 19. to advise the purchasing and stores departments in ensuring the availability of high quality personal protective equipments. 20. To advice as dept head in case of any management change request, deviations and CAPA. 21. To prepare EHS budget for all the plants and control it within the limit. 22. In addition to above functions, execution of EHS activities of other associate Units of Indo Amines Ltd. will also be carried out in similar manner. 23.
