Job Description

About Bipolar Factory

Computer Vision Engineer

If you’re excited by deep learning, edge AI, real-time detection, and large-scale vision pipelines, this is your place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development

: Design, train, and deploy computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, classification, and tracking.

  • Pipeline Building

: Build scalable, efficient, and production-ready vision pipelines using deep learning frameworks.

  • Experimentation

: Run experiments with state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SAM, Vision Transformers), fine-tune pre-trained models, and benchmark performance.

  • Data Handling

: Work with large datasets—curate, augment, clean, and label image/video data for training and validation.

  • Collaboration

: Work closely with the AI team, product managers, and backend developers to integrate vision models into production systems.

  • Research-Driven Engineering

: Stay current with research trends and bring academic advancements into practical use cases.

  • Optimization

: Optimize models for real-time inference, edge devices, or low-resource environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience working in computer vision or AI engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Solid understanding of image processing, CNNs, and modern computer vision techniques.
  • Experience with OpenCV and vision-based data preprocessing.
  • Familiarity with model deployment frameworks (e.g., ONNX, TensorRT, FastAPI).
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Strong analytical skills and a mindset for experimentation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with video analytics, real-time processing, or edge deployment (e.g., Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
  • Familiarity with generative models (GANs, Diffusion models).
  • Contributions to open-source CV/ML projects or research publications.
  • Experience with cloud-based training or deployment (AWS, GCP).

Why Join Bipolar Factory?

  • Work on high-impact, experimental AI products from the ground up
  • A fast-moving, low-hierarchy environment where your work is seen and valued
  • Flexible schedules, creative freedom, and deep tech problems to solve
  • A passionate team that thrives on innovation and iteration
