Civil / Structural Engineer

At JLL, the Civil / Structural Engineer supports the Project Lead in managing and executing civil engineering projects. This role involves assisting with project coordination, technical oversight, and team management to ensure successful delivery of civil works within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Lead in planning, coordinating, and overseeing civil engineering projects.
Help develop and review electrical system designs, specifications, and drawings.
Support in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Assist in preparing technical reports, change orders, and project documentation.
Help identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues related to electrical systems.
Support quality control processes and ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and codes.
Contribute to client presentations and progress meetings.
Support the procurement process for civil equipment and materials.
Help prepare project proposals and cost estimates for civil systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of civil works.
Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD civil).
Familiarity with relevant civil codes, standards, and regulations.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of civil design practices. Understanding of construction methodologies and site management.
