Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in supporting the design, development, and execution of civil infrastructure related to solar energy projects. This role involves site analysis, foundation and structure design, permitting support, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely and quality implementation of solar installations, both ground-mounted and rooftop systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments and topographical surveys for solar project locations.
• Design and oversee civil structures including module mounting foundations, equipment enclosures, trenches, and access roads.
• Prepare and review civil drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation for compliance with industry and company standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to integrate civil works into the overall plant design.
• Ensure all civil works adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Supervise civil contractors on-site and conduct regular quality control checks.
• Provide cost estimations, resource planning, and timelines for civil construction activities.
• Assist in regulatory and permitting documentation relevant to land use and construction.
• Support the team in factory layout planning, drainage system design, and utility routing within the manufacturing plant if needed.
• Report project progress to management and flag any risks or delays proactively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 3-4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in renewable energy, solar EPC, or infrastructure development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, and MS Project/Primavera.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, structural loads, and civil foundation design for solar structures.
• Experience in project execution, contractor management, and quality assurance.
• Understanding of factory civil works (if the role includes manufacturing plant civil planning).
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
