Role Overview

Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute

    category strategy

    for the 0–8 years segment, aligned with brand goals.
  • Lead

    seasonal range planning

    with the design and sourcing team.
  • Conduct

    market and competitor analysis

    to spot trends and consumer demand gaps.
  • Build and manage

    pricing architecture

    , product mix, and lifecycle planning.
  • Drive

    sell-through, inventory rotation

    , and initiate action on slow movers.
  • Coordinate with

    design, merchandising, marketing, and supply chain

    to ensure timelines and targets are met.
  • Monitor

    sales performance

    , analyze data, and present actionable insights to the management.
  • Stay updated with

    fabric innovations, safety standards, and child-specific design trends

    .

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in

    apparel category management

    , preferably kidswear.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to both

    product development and GTM (go-to-market)

    cycles.
  • High comfort with Excel, data tools, and collaborative platforms.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for building great products for children.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
