Career Counsellor at Amity Global School, Gurgaon

Job Responsibilities:

As a Career Counsellor at Amity Global School, you will be responsible for:

- Providing one-on-one and group counselling sessions to students to help them explore career options and make informed decisions about their future.

- Conducting workshops and seminars on career planning, college applications, and resume writing.

- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external organizations to create resources and programs that support students' career development.

- Staying updated on industry trends and educational opportunities to provide relevant advice and guidance.

- Assisting students with the college application process, including writing personal statements and preparing for interviews.

- Maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.

- Promoting a positive and supportive environment that encourages students to pursue their interests and aspirations.


Required Qualifications:


  • Should have worked in IB School

  • A Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification in Career Counselling is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in career counselling or a related role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of various career paths, educational opportunities, and job market trends.


Preferred Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Empathy and patience, with a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

- Proficiency in using technology and career assessment tools.
