Position Overview

Article Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Auditing:

• Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits; review financial records and ensure adherence to auditing standards.

• Taxation:

• Prepare and file tax returns (direct and indirect), assist with tax audits, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Accounting:

• Maintain financial records, support in the preparation of financial statements, and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

• Client Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with clients, resolve queries, and provide support in understanding financial data and compliance obligations.

• Documentation:

• Maintain organized and accurate records of financial transactions, audit files, and client correspondence.

• Compliance:

• Ensure all activities are in line with accounting standards, legal requirements, and professional ethics.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members, seniors, and partners to deliver high-quality service and meet client expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Requirement:

• CA Intermediate (Inter) qualified.

• Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax laws.

• Software Proficiency:

• Proficient in MS Office; experience with accounting/tax software is a plus.

• Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently as well as in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
