Business Head – CXOSteps


Purpose of the Role:


To take ownership of CXOSteps' strategic growth, operations, and market expansion, acting as a catalytic force across marketing, partnerships, product, and sales. This role is meant for someone with entrepreneurial energy, commercial sharpness, and the ability to inspire teams while driving disciplined execution in a fast-evolving leadership development space.



Key Responsibilities


Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Shape and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy to grow CXOSteps into a global CXO coaching brand.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across B2C, B2B, and SAAS-based models for revenue diversification.
  • Drive financial accountability and ensure alignment of all teams to growth and impact metrics.

Growth & Digital Marketing

  • Oversee end-to-end performance marketing, digital campaign execution, and brand visibility.
  • Work with internal and external partners to optimize acquisition funnels and CAC.
  • Ensure our digital positioning reflects thought leadership, authenticity, and conversion focus.

Product & Platform Alignment

  • Guide product enhancements based on user feedback and market research.
  • Collaborate with tech vendors to ensure timely and quality upgrades in line with brand vision.

People & Culture

  • Inspire and coach a lean team to deliver excellence.
  • Instill accountability, energy, and ownership without creating hierarchy or bureaucracy.
  • Be the cultural glue while enabling high performance.

CXO Relationships & Ecosystem Building

  • Actively engage with CXOs, boards, and industry leaders to evangelize the brand.
  • Create a strong ecosystem of advisors, coaches, and clients that believe in CXOSteps' mission.



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve growth in revenue and inbound leads in line with quarterly targets.
  • Drive CAC reduction and LTV improvement through performance marketing.
  • Quarterly launch of new campaigns, pilots, or partnerships.
  • Team OKRs completed at >90% level each cycle.
  • At least 3 meaningful strategic relationships initiated or nurtured per month.



Sample Weekly Tasks

  • Review lead funnel performance, digital spends, and conversion trends.
  • Connect with at least 2–3 clients, coaches, or ecosystem partners.
  • Conduct team stand-ups and unblock critical execution bottlenecks.
  • Engage with marketing/agency teams to review creative direction and brand narrative.
  • Collaborate with tech or ops team to ensure platform readiness and continuity.
  • Provide mentorship or feedback to team members, directly or via tools.



Must-Have Functional Skills

  • Proven experience in B2C or e-commerce, digital-first business environments.
  • Strong exposure to digital marketing, performance marketing, and SAAS or tech-enabled business models.
  • Ability to build, manage, and grow cross-functional teams in early-stage environments.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership-heavy roles.
  • Track record of engaging senior stakeholders and CXO-level decision makers.



Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in executive coaching, leadership development, or HR-tech.
  • Strong storytelling, public speaking, and ecosystem-building ability.
  • Understanding of international markets and global leadership dynamics.
  • Prior entrepreneurial experience or stint in fast-scaling startups.
  • Strong financial acumen and a product-user-growth mindset.
