Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for data mining and analytics projects across domestic markets
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand project requirements and build accurate, customized proposals and cost estimates
  • Perform market and competitor research to identify potential clients and project leads related to data mining, data scraping and big data analytics
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, cold outreach and networking
  • Foster client relationships through in-person meetings, clear communication and prompt follow-ups
  • Track bidding performance and optimize proposal strategies to improve win rates
  • Report weekly and monthly on lead conversions, bidding outcomes, and revenue forecasts


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development and managing bidding portals
  • Strong understanding of data mining, web scraping and data analytics concepts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to draft clear, concise, and compelling technical proposals
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and organized in approach
  • Familiarity with government and private sector bidding norms is a plus
