Business Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the mutual fund industry and in-depth knowledge of CAMS data. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SQL and sales query management, playing a critical role in driving data-driven insights and supporting business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret CAMS data to provide actionable insights for business decision making.

• Develop and manage SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand data requirements and deliver customized reports.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to support performance analysis and forecasting.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and quality.

• Document data processes, methodologies, and insights for future reference.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the mutual fund industry.

• Strong understanding of CAMS data and mutual fund operations.

• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.

• Experience with sales query management and performance tracking.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

• Experience working with large datasets and advanced analytics techniques.

• Understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting in the financial services sector
