Branch Manager, Hyderabad for large Freight Forwarding company

We are looking for a Branch Manager for Hyderabad, who will develop and grow business in Hyderabad and entire Telanagana and Andhra Pradesh region.

Responsibilities include:

• Based on the business plan for the financial year, defining the sales strategy
• Opening a new branch in Hyderabad city
• Appointment of sales and other operational staff
• Sharing the strategy with branch staff and ensuring to achieve and exceed targets
• Should have clear understanding and experience in the area of freight forwarding, shipping and logistics
• Should have complete sales focus, should have established relationship with exporters and importers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and should be able to drive the business
• Driving the sales team for optimum performance
• Monitoring the operations & having tight control on operational costs
• Creating a conducive work environment promoting ethical business with a strong focus on IGL values
• Guiding and motivating the team for branch success
• Managing day-to-day administrative needs of the branch
• Ensuring that the billing to the customers is done on a timely basis as per the agreed terms
• Ascertaining timely collection of payments as per the agreed terms and keeping strict tab on outstanding and collectibles
• Managing the cash flow effectively for smooth functioning of the branch

Ideal candidate :



• Graduate degree is a must
• Around 10-15 years experience in Sales / Business Development / P & L responsible in shipping and /or freight forwarding industry
• Technical skills - Financial acumen, freight forwarding / customs broking knowledge
• Should have extremely good written and oral communication skills in local language as well as in English
• Should have leadership and inter-personal relationship building abilities

Remuneration:

Pay package will be at par with industry standard, but will not be a constraint for the right candidate
