Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

AWS

Data Engineer

with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Unix. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable data pipelines, managing ETL workflows, and deploying data solutions in a production environment using modern cloud-native tools and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Develop and manage ETL workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, and EMR.
• Work with AWS services such as SNS, EventBridge, Redshift, and S3 to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide clean, reliable data in Jupyter and BI environments.
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices for data pipeline deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot data and system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work in Unix/Linux environments to support data processing and automation tasks.
  

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python and PySpark
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• In-depth knowledge of AWS data services: EMR, Glue, Lambda, SNS, EventBridge, Redshift, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment
• Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks or similar data science tools
