Location : Chennai Reports To : Head of Sales The role will be a part of the Sales Team at the Institutional Equities business Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with institutional clients. The role requires a deep understanding of the financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Client Relationship Management : Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention. Sales Strategy & Execution : Identify and target new business opportunities within the institutional sector and develop tailored sales strategies to meet their needs. Product Knowledge : Maintain in-depth knowledge of financial products and services offered by the company, understanding client needs and offering appropriate solutions. Market Intelligence : Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and institutional client needs. Sales Presentations & Proposals : Assisting Head of Sales in preparing and presenting compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to institutional clients. Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (e.g., trading, research, product development) to deliver solutions that meet client expectations and address market demands. Performance Reporting : Track and report on sales activities, client feedback, and revenue generation; provide regular updates to management. Skills & Qualifications : Experience : 4-6 years in institutional sales/equity research or a related role within the financial services or investment management industry.
