As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Production/Manufacturing to optimize our operations and ensure seamless production management.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Production/Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, implementing process improvements, ensuring ISO compliance, and managing factory personnel. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality assurance, regulatory documentation, and ISO standards (9001 & 13485).

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Process Management
  • Supervise the entire production process, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet operational goals and delivery deadlines
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics, ensuring adherence to efficiency and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and calibration of manufacturing machinery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced productivity and cost efficiency.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Maintain strict quality control measures to meet regulatory and ISO standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 13485).
  • Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and industry best practices
  • Oversee and participate in ISO documentation preparation, audits, and compliance reporting.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Quality Manuals as per ISO 13485 & 9001.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and regulatory teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Workforce & Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and mentor factory workers, machine operators, and production staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs for skill development.
  • Ensure proper manpower allocation to meet production targets efficiently.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Coordinate with QA, HR, Accounts, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain and present production reports, downtime logs, and efficiency analysis to senior management.
  • Assist in risk assessments and internal audits related to manufacturing and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

✔ Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Polymer Engineering or any B.Tech degree ✔ Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in production, manufacturing, or plant operations.

✔ Industry: Experience in medical devices, dental products, or precision manufacturing is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of , risk management, and internal audits.
