Assistant Legal Manager

Job Description

Overview: A Legal Executive is responsible for providing legal advice and support to the company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, handling legal documentation, and representing the company in legal matters. The role requires excellent knowledge of legal procedures, the ability to analyze and interpret legal information, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. 2. Advising the company on legal risks, compliance issues, and potential legal implications of business decisions. Advice on contractual terms and mitigate any potential risks. 3. Managing and resolving legal disputes, including coordinating with external legal counsel if necessary. 4. Keeping the legal department organized by maintaining accurate records and managing documentation. 5. Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in legislation that may affect the company. 6. Assisting in the development of company policies and procedures from a legal perspective. 7. Representing the company in court proceedings, if required. 8. Oversee the filing and Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring timely submission of required legal documents. 9. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to regulatory authorities. 10. Vetting legal agreements and maintaining the repository of legal documents 11. Contractual Obligations and Deadlines Report 12. Legal Advisory Report MIS 13. Regulatory Filing and Submission Report giving the details of the all legal cases filed the company in a periodical manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
