Assistant Design Coordinator Hospitality Interiors

As an Assistant Design Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our interior design team, focusing primarily on hospitality projects such as hotels, restaurants, and cafes. Your role will involve assisting in various aspects of the design process, from creating mood boards to ensuring the final execution aligns with the client's vision. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating on the creation of mood boards and visual concepts tailored to meet client requirements. You will be tasked with sourcing furniture and materials, liaising with vendors to obtain samples, quotes, and establish delivery timelines. Additionally, your role will involve utilizing your furniture knowledge to recommend or customize pieces that complement the project theme. You will also be responsible for reviewing shop drawings and design layouts for accuracy, assisting in budget preparation, and creating basic 3D models or renderings using tools such as SketchUp. Your proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite will be essential in fulfilling your duties. Strong communication and team coordination skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines are crucial for success in this role. While a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required, a related field degree may also be acceptable.
