Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations for chimneys and gas stoves within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for dealer/distributor management, achieving sales targets, market penetration, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies for chimneys and gas stoves.
• Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and retailers across the assigned area.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through field activities.
• Train and motivate the sales team and channel partners on product features and selling points.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and branding at retail points.
• Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with the service team for after-sales support.
• Track inventory, order planning, and payment collection from channel partners.
• Prepare and present sales performance reports to the zonal manager/leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Proven sales experience in kitchen appliances/home appliances sector.
• Strong understanding of distribution and retail network operations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and reporting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
