Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with 1to 2 years of experience to join our architecture studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality architectural drawings and construction documents under the guidance of senior architects. The role requires proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of building systems, and a keen eye for technical detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction details based on sketches, verbal instructions, and design concepts.
• Draft plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software.
• Support architects in preparing presentation drawings, diagrams, and layouts.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Update and revise drawings as per design changes or client feedback.
• Maintain organized digital and printed drawing archives for each project.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and site visits when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD is essential;
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, building materials, and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in an architecture or design firm for 1-2 years.
• Familiarity with local building bylaws and approval processes.
• Experience preparing drawings for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
