Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Assistant Department: Accounts & Finance Reports To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager Job Description: The Accounts Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing invoices, assisting with reconciliations, and providing administrative support to the accounts team. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices Verify bills, vouchers, and receipts Enter accounting data into software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or other accounting systems) Assist with bank reconciliations Maintain petty cash records and handle reimbursements Coordinate with vendors and customers for outstanding payments and clarifications Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory documents Maintain ledgers and other financial records Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of all accounting documents Required Skills:Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, MS Excel) Attention to detail and accuracy in work Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and in a team Time management and organizational skills Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or relevant field 0–2 years of experience in an accounting role (Freshers with good knowledge may apply) Gender- Only Female For more quire.
