JOB SUMMARY Redcliffe Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Accessioning Officer to support our laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, labeling, and logging biological specimens into the system to ensure timely and error-free processing of samples. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receive incoming patient samples and verify their integrity, labeling, and packaging. Ensure timely barcode generation and sample sorting for downstream lab departments. Maintain strict adherence to sample handling protocols and safety guidelines. Report any discrepancies or damaged specimens to the supervisor promptly. Coordinate with phlebotomy and logistics teams for resolution of sample-related issues. Ensure daily sample reconciliation and proper documentation of accessioning logs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the accessioning area. QUALIFICATION & SKILLS Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sample handling or laboratory accessioning. DMLT/ BMLT Familiarity with lab data system. Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume lab environment.
