VP-Projects/Head-Operations- Luxury Retail (Diploma in Civil)

Job Purpose

To lead end-to-end infrastructure project execution, vendor coordination, and multi-store rollout for retail formats and commercial spaces, driving timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership
• Oversee pan-India new store setups and renovations (50+ locations; 1 million+ sq. ft.)
• Partner with senior leadership and planning teams to align project timelines and goals
• Execute retail expansion and civil/interior fit-outs for large format stores and malls
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Manage vendor onboarding, contracting, and execution per project lifecycle
• Coordinate with store planning, architects, consultants, and brand teams
• Ensure adherence to technical specifications and brand aesthetics
• Execution & Supervision
• Lead site supervision and ensure SOP compliance during new store openings
• Prepare PRs and work schedules aligned with layout and design requirements
• Monitor construction milestones and ensure zero-delay handovers
• Budgeting & Documentation
• Track work progress, raise joint measurements, and manage billing approvals
• Monitor material sourcing and cost controls against budgets
• Ensure detailed documentation for all openings and store handovers (HOTO)
• Team Leadership & Compliance
• Build and guide regional project teams across geographies
• Drive adherence to safety, statutory, and company standards
• Ensure process implementation and audit readiness

Mandatory Key Requirements

Education Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering; Certified in AutoCAD; Safety/STCW training

Experience 15+ years in retail infrastructure, civil execution, fit-outs, multi-brand coordination

Project Portfolio Must have executed at least 500K+ sq. ft. across 30+ locations

Tech Skills SAP proficiency, AutoCAD, MS Office, basic digital workflow understanding

Leadership Strong vendor negotiation, cross-functional coordination, and team building

Soft Skills Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, good communicator, stakeholder empathy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
