Video Editor (Sr. Executive)

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos aligned with brand aesthetics and YouTube best practices.
• Work closely with the content and strategy teams to understand the narrative, tone, and audience engagement goals for each project.
• Add music, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and text overlays to enhance content.
• Optimise videos for format, resolution, and duration for maximum reach and retention.
• Implement revisions based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining quick turnaround timelines.
• Organise and manage video assets including footage, audio files, and templates.
• Stay updated with trends in digital content, YouTube Shorts, and AI-based content tools.
• Collaborate with on-camera talent and creative leads to capture and elevate storytelling.
• Contribute to the ideation and editing of YouTube Shorts and other short-form video formats.

Analyse video performance and provide creative inputs to improve content engagement.

Required Skills & Tools

Qualifications:

• Any degree from a recognised university/institution.
• Strong command of

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  Final Cut Pro (FCP)

  After Effects

  Photoshop

• Familiarity with special effects, compositing, 3D animation, and visual storytelling
• Experience with any AI tools.
• Excellent understanding of pacing, emotion, transitions, and sound design
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining creative and technical excellence
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and a portfolio showcasing recent work
