Job Title: Demand & Vendor Development Manager
Industry: Logistics / Supply Chain
Location: Delhi NCR Experience: 2–6 Years (can be adjusted based on requirement)
Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to handle demand generation and vendor development for our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new client demands, building strategic vendor relationships, onboarding reliable transporters/suppliers, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
♦ Demand Generation:
☑ Identify potential clients in need of logistics, warehousing, or transportation services.
☑Generate leads through networking, field visits, market analysis, and cold calling.
☑Build and maintain a pipeline of active client requirements.
☑Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely fulfillment of client demands.
☑Negotiate service terms and close deals.
♦Vendor Development:
☑Source and develop reliable vendors (transporters, fleet owners, warehousing partners, etc.)
☑Conduct vendor background checks and capability assessments.
☑Handle rate negotiations and contract finalizations.
☑Ensure vendors meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and compliance requirements.
☑Maintain a healthy vendor database across multiple regions.
Key Skills:
☑Good knowledge of logistics operations (FTL).
☑Excellent communication and negotiation skills
☑Ability to work under pressure and deliver targetsStrong network of logistics vendors (preferred)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMBA preferred (not mandatory)
