Job Description – Senior Technical Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager to lead our technical sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in capital machinery sales, preferably in the construction or concrete products industry, and a deep understanding of mechanical/electromechanical systems. This role will involve managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing technical guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the technical sales team to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

· Identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and close high-value deals.

· Provide technical presentations and consultations to customers regarding machinery features, specifications, and solutions.

· Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

· Oversee end-to-end sales cycle – from enquiry to quotation, negotiation, order finalization, and after-sales support.

· Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and site visits to promote products and services.

· Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

· Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics for management review.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. MBA in Marketing/Sales is a plus.

· Minimum 5–8 years of experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery sales.

· Strong technical knowledge of concrete machinery, automation systems, or similar industrial products.

· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

· Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
