Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound SolarWinds Monitoring Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience. The selected candidate will assist in configuring, maintaining, and supporting SolarWinds monitoring tools to ensure high visibility across IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Assist in the administration and day-to-day operations of SolarWinds modules such as:

o  Network Performance Monitor (NPM)

o  Server & Application Monitor (SAM)

o  IP Address Manager (IPAM)

o  NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) (if applicable)

·      Monitor system and network performance, and generate alerts and reports

·      Perform basic troubleshooting for issues raised through SolarWinds alerts

·      Support dashboard and report creation for various stakeholders

·      Tune alert thresholds and reduce false positives

·      Maintain system hygiene and documentation

·      Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·      2–3 years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds (Orion platform)

·      Understanding of monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, ICMP)

·      Strong grasp of infrastructure components – servers, networking, applications

·      Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus

·      Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

·      Exposure to SolarWinds integrations (e.g., with ServiceNow)

·      Basic knowledge of ITIL processes

·      SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) preferred
