Social Media Head

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the in-house social media team to plan, strategize, and execute high-performing campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
• Oversee the brand presence of Digital Scholar and ensure alignment with the institute’s goals and voice.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to students on social media marketing concepts, strategies, and platform-specific techniques.
• Guide students through hands-on projects and social media campaign execution.
• Continuously upgrade and refine the curriculum to keep pace with industry trends and algorithm updates.
• Conduct Q&A and doubt-clearing sessions to ensure student clarity and confidence.
• Share real-world case studies and campaign insights from both agency and brand perspectives.
• Support students in preparing for and achieving industry-recognized certifications.
• Collaborate with other department heads and trainers to align academic goals with marketing initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 3–6 years of proven experience in social media marketing, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or team management role.
• Prior experience in training or mentoring is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for teaching.
• A dynamic personality with the ability to inspire and lead both students and team members.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms, trends, tools, and analytics.
• Demonstrated experience in building successful social media strategies and managing brand handles.
• Strong content understanding, what works where, and why.
• A personal blog or social media presence that reflects your expertise is an added advantage.
• Passionate about digital marketing, education, and leadership.
