Job Title : Snowflake Developer/Data Engineer

Location : Chennai(Hybrid)

About the Role

Snowflake Developer


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize

    Snowflake data models, schemas, and performance-tuned queries.
  • Write and execute

    SnowSQL

    scripts for data transformation and automation.
  • Utilize

    Snowflake Cortex

    to integrate AI-driven analytics and insights.
  • Implement

    DBT (Data Build Tool)

    for data transformation, testing, and orchestration.
  • Design and maintain ​

    ADF data pipelines

    and

    ETL/ELT workflows

    .
  • Collaborate with

    cross-functional teams

    to understand data needs and provide solutions.
  • Ensure

    data security, governance, and best practices

    in Snowflake.
  • Troubleshoot

    performance issues

    and implement tuning strategies.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 6+ years

      of hands-on experience with

      Snowflake

      and cloud data warehousing.
    • Strong expertise in

      SnowSQL and DBT

      . 
    • Expertise in Cortex is a Plus
    • Experience in

      data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization

      .
    • Hands-on experience with

      ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

      .
    • Strong understanding of

      SQL, data warehousing concepts, and cloud architecture

      .
    • Experience integrating

      Snowflake with other BI/Analytics tools

      .
    • Excellent

      problem-solving skills

      and

      attention to detail

      .
    • Strong

      communication skills

      to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Knowledge / hands on experience in

      PowerBI, Fabric is a plus.
