Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day on-site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare site reports, drawings, quality assurance documentation, and status updates for management and clients.
• Ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and resources required on-site.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot issues during construction.
• Manage site personnel and ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following legal regulations and best practices.
• Provide technical advice and resolve any on-site issues that arise during construction.
• Participate in project planning and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in using CAD software, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
