Job Title: Site Engineer – Civil Company: Thavam Constructions Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu Job Type: Full-time Experience: Freshers and Experienced (0–2 years) Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Civil to join our growing team. This role is ideal for both fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects. The selected candidate will play a key role in on-site execution, quality control, and coordination of daily project activities. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure timely project execution Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project workflow Conduct quality checks and ensure all work complies with design specifications and safety regulations Maintain site documentation such as daily progress reports, material usage, and attendance Assist in planning and resource allocation Report site issues or delays promptly to the Project Manager Requirements: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with good knowledge or internship experience are welcome) Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to work at project sites and travel when required Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD is an advantage Perks & Benefits: Learning and development opportunities Exposure to real-time construction and infrastructure projects Supportive and growth-driven work environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Location: Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 10/07/2025 Expected Start Date: 01/07/2025
