Service Engineer

JOB TITLE: SERVICE ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) – RIGID PACKAGING DIVISION LOCATION: NAVI MUMBAI JOB ROLE: We are looking for a skilled electrical service engineer who can efficiently manage all electrical work involved in installation and commissioning of all rigid packaging machines. This role also involves providing technical support to customers by resolving machine issues, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining customer satisfaction KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Installation and Commissioning. Technical Support. Maintenance and Repairs. Spare Parts Management. Customer Communication. REPORTING TO: Sr. Manager – Technical Assistance RESPONSIBLITIES: Responsible for all electrical work involved in installation and commissioning of all rigid packaging machines. Perform routine maintenance and address electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime. Addressing and resolving customer complaints promptly to minimize downtime. Providing training to customers on machine operation and maintenance. Offering preventive maintenance recommendations to improve machine reliability. Implement system upgrades or modifications as needed to meet customer needs or improve equipment performance. Maintain accurate service records, including reports on maintenance activities and machine performance. AGE: Above 25 years EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering DESIRABLE : Additional certifications in machine installation, maintenance, or related technical fields PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ESSENTIAL: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of packaging machinery. DESIRABLE: Experience in working with Rigid Packaging machines. DESIRABLE SKILL SETS: Strong understanding of Rigid Packaging Machine. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve machinery issues. Willingness to travel extensively for installations and customer support while adapting to diverse work environments. Capable of managing installation and commissioning projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met. Skill in preparing detailed and accurate service and maintenance reports.
