Job Title: Vice President – Operations ( Site Head) Location: HP Industry: Pharmaceutical – Formulation Manufacturing Plant Turnover: Approx. ₹1500 Crore Reports To: Corporate Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our pharmaceutical formulation plant as Vice President ( Site Head)– Operations . The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end site operations, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, EHS, and Compliance. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of leading a large-scale formulation manufacturing facility and should currently be functioning as a Site Head . Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all site operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Lead and manage all departments at the site including Production, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and Administration. Ensure consistent achievement of production targets, cost efficiencies, and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and automation across functions. Ensure compliance with cGMP, USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP, and other regulatory standards. Maintain high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and employee engagement at the site. Develop and manage site budgets, cost controls, and resource planning. Interface with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives, audits, regulatory inspections, and business planning. Lead a high-performing cross-functional team and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and integrity. Qualifications & Experience: Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Full-time) – Mandatory Experience: Minimum 20 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing (formulations only) Must have at least 5 years of experience as Site Head of a large formulation plant Strong regulatory exposure with successful track records of facing audits from USFDA, MHRA, EU, WHO, etc. Proven leadership in managing large teams, cross-functional coordination, and high-level stakeholder communication Sound understanding of manufacturing technologies, operational KPIs, and compliance frameworks Preferred Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong execution capability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exposure to global regulatory audits and supply chain integration Ability to lead large-scale change and modernization projects (automation, digitalization, etc.) Location Preference: Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to North India will be preferred.
