About the Role


We are seeking a Senior Valuation Specialist with extensive experience in IRC 409A valuations to join our fast-growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in valuation, particularly within the FinTech or financial services domain. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and a strong command of valuation methodologies.


Key Responsibilities


* Lead and deliver high-quality IRC 409A valuations and other complex financial valuation analyses.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including legal, finance, and executive teams to gather inputs and communicate valuation outcomes.

* Conduct market research and benchmarking using tools like Capital IQ, PitchBook, and other valuation data platforms.

* Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for audit review and board-level communication.

* Provide mentorship to junior valuation analysts and support cross-functional initiatives.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation best practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends.

* Leverage tools in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace to streamline documentation, modeling, and reporting.


Qualifications


* 8+ years of hands-on experience in valuation services, with a strong focus on IRC 409A and startup/VC-backed company valuations.

* Prior experience working in or with FinTech or financial services firms is required.

* MBA and CA (Chartered Accountant) credentials are mandatory.

* Proficiency in using Capital IQ and other relevant financial data platforms.

* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence decision-makers across levels.

* Comfortable with a remote-first work environment; highly self-motivated and accountable.
