Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in designing U.S. commercial and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on both structural designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Review and approve structural drawings for technical accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Architects and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers during project development.
• Address and resolve RFIs (Requests for Information) related to structural design.
• Provide technical expertise in the design of wood, steel, and CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) buildings.
• Work with advanced structural analysis and design software, such as:(RISA, Tekla Tedds, Enercalc, Mathcad)
• Ensure projects meet deadlines and maintain the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on U.S. commercial buildings.
• Expertise in Building Codes: Strong knowledge of ASCE, IBC, AISI, ACI, and NDS standards.
• Material Expertise: Proven experience with wood, steel, and CMU building design.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).

Additional Skills (Advantageous)

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for structural design and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹80,000.00 per month
