Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with 4+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and real-time applications. Experience in the gaming/casino industry will be a significant advantage, as the role involves working on high-performance, secure, and scalable gaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js.

- Build RESTful & WebSocket APIs for real-time gaming/casino applications.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability.

- Work with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Integrate payment gateways, KYC verification, and fraud detection mechanisms (experience in gaming/casino platforms is a plus).

- Implement caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and database optimizations (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment.

- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards (especially in gambling/casino domains).

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.

- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, NestJS (optional but preferred).

- Experience with WebSockets (Socket.io) for real-time applications.

- Knowledge of database systems (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis).

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of JWT, OAuth, and security best practices.

- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services.

- Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.

- Prior experience in gaming, casino, or betting platforms is a big advantage.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with blockchain/crypto integrations (for crypto casinos).

- Knowledge of game mechanics, RNG (Random Number Generation), and fairness algorithms.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., gambling licenses, GDPR, AML policies).
